Dean Hicks is a graduate of Williams College and the Washington and Lee University School of Law. At Washington and Lee, Hicks was a Martin P. Burks Scholar and the student director of, and an instructor in, the school’s research and writing and appellate advocacy program; won the school’s moot court competition; captained the National Moot Court Team; and was a finalist for the school’s writing prize. He is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
