February 16, 2012

The new Savannah Law School (SLS), a branch of ABA-accredited Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS), today announced the first administrative and staff appointments as it prepares to welcome its inaugural class in August 2012.

Rose Anne Nespica, currently an Associate Professor at AJMLS, was named the Associate Dean at SLS. Nespica, who brings to SLS more than 20 years of real-world, classroom and administrative experience, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the campus, including academic affairs, student services, financial aid, career services, library services and other student and faculty support functions. Before joining AJMLS, she was an Associate Dean at Pepperdine University School of Law and has served in other leadership roles at Pacifica Graduate Institute and Pacific Oaks College.  Nespica holds a Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.

Emily Attridge, a resident of Tybee Island, was named Assistant Director of Admissions. Attridge will manage the recruiting and admissions functions for SLS.  Most recently, Attridge was the Director of Financial Aid and Institutional Research at Stetson University School of Law. Attridge earned a Master’s in Counselor Education at University of South Florida.

“Both Rose Anne and Emily offer Savannah Law School the depth of knowledge and experience to contribute to the successful opening and ongoing operation of the new campus,” said Richardson Lynn, Dean and Professor of Law at SLS.  “We will continue to identify the administrative, staff and faculty talent we need to help our students launch their legal careers.”
