Earlier this month, Savannah Law School (SLS) Associate Professor Vinay Harpalani was chosen to participate in the Equality Law Scholars’ Forum at the University of California, Berkeley. This was a great honor as the Forum featured five presenters that were chosen from over 50 submissions. The Forum was designed to provide junior scholars with commentary and critique by their more senior colleagues in the legal academy and, more broadly, to foster development and understanding of new scholarly currents across equality law.*
At the event, Professor Harpalani presented Colorable Claims of Discrimination. At SLS, Professor Harpalani teaches constitutional law, civil procedure, and employment discrimination. Professor Harpalani is uniquely qualified to present at the Equality Law Scholars’ Forum because his scholarship examines race-consciousness from both constitutional and interdisciplinary perspectives.
Thank you for your continued contributions to the legal community, Professor Harpalani! The SLS community appreciates your commitment to continuing education.
