Professor Marc Roark is having a very active September! He is currently an International Visiting Scholar in Residence at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. He will be there until the 24th of September.
Additionally, on September 18th, Professor Roark will give a lecture at National University of Ireland Galway, titled “Property and Resiliance.” From September 22nd through the 23rd, he will be convening a workshop along with Lorna Fox O’Mahony, Martha Fineman, and Stu Marvel, with the purpose of gathering property scholars to present papers addressing property and vulnerability. On September 25th, he will be giving the Keynote Lecture at Rogavira University’s Housing Chair internal
workshop, “Empty housing, squatting and community rehabilitation.” The lecture is titled “Squatting and Resilience — A Way Forward.”
Finally, he will be ending the month and his trip abroad on September 26th by giving a lecture at the University of Barcelona, titled “Property’s Common Problems…”
