SLS Student Ambassador Program

The Savannah Law School (SLS) Student Ambassador Program consists of current law students who serve as faces of the law school.  Our ambassadors are an invaluable extension to Savannah Law School and its Office of Admissions.  Their primary goal is to help prospective students, their families and the community obtain an inside view of life as a student at Savannah Law.  They serve as the link between the current and future law student body and are happy to answer your questions, offer candid advice, and help students adjust to law school.

Selection Process

Each year in April, the Office of Admissions posts openings for the Student Ambassador Program.  Interested students are required to submit applications and resumes to the Office of Admissions.  The Office of Admissions then interviews candidates to hand select diverse individuals who are reliable, friendly, comfortable talking with others and have attended SLS for at least one semester.  Each ambassador has the option to renew his or her tenure in the Student Ambassador Program for the following academic year upon completing the required 10 hours of service to the law school.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as student representative to prospective students and their families through personal visits, classroom visits, and facility tours.
  • Participate in on-campus events such as Open Houses and Admitted Students’ Days, as well as occasional off-campus recruitment events.
  • Connect with admitted students via follow up communications and various social media networks.
